How to Apply to a Department in Casual RP

Ready to take on a role in one of the many departments in Casual RP? Whether you’re interested in joining Law Enforcement, EMS, or any other specialized department, applying is quick and easy! Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started:

Step 1: Head to the Department Building

  • Go In-Game: Log into Casual RP and make your way to the department building you’re interested in applying for. Each department has its own designated building in the city.

    • For example, if you want to join LSPD, head to the Police Department in the city center.

    • If you're looking to apply for EMS, make your way to the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Station.

Step 2: Find the Officer in the Lobby

  • Once you’ve arrived at the department, look for the officer standing in the lobby or the designated application area. These NPCs are there to guide you through the application process.

Step 3: Apply In-Game

  • Interact with the officer in the lobby and choose the option to apply for the department. You’ll be prompted with a brief application or form to complete directly within the game.

Step 4: Wait for Contact

  • After submitting your application, wait for a response. If you’re accepted, you’ll be contacted either:

    • Via Discord (through direct message)

    • In-Game (via private message)

This is where further information will be shared with you about the department, including training schedules, expectations, and how to officially join the team!

Step 5: Get Ready for Further Steps

  • If you're accepted, you’ll be invited to participate in any necessary training or interviews to get started with your new role. Don’t worry, the department leaders will guide you through every step, ensuring you’re ready to hit the ground running!

A Few Things to Keep in Mind:

  • Be Patient: Some departments may have a high volume of applicants, so it may take some time before you're contacted.

  • Respect the Process: Follow any instructions given to you by department staff, and be sure to check your Discord and In-Game inbox for messages.

  • Stay Active: The more active and engaged you are with the community, the better your chances of being selected for a role!
